Yoga Nidra with Tara


In this 75-minute class you will have the opportunity to exererience meditation and yoga nidra, which is a deeply restorative practice that offers windows into your inner wisdom. Translated as “yogic sleep” or “divine sleep,” this type of yoga focuses on the systematic relaxation of the body while the mind enters a state of deep, meditative awareness—like dreaming while fully awake. All you have to do is lie down in a comfortable position, and listen to the sound of my voice as you are guided on an inner journey.


Yoga nidra has the potential to reduce stress, improve sleep, and help diminish symptoms of anxiety and depression. The yoga nidra practice will be bookended by brief meditation and time for journaling at the end.
