A little about me...
Hi! I'm Tara (she/hers) and I'm so happy you're here!
As a yoga and meditation practitioner and guide, my aims are individual and collective, co-creative growth and healing through collective wisdom and committed spiritual practice. I'm a queer, cis, white-bodied woman living in New Hampshire, N’dakinna, which is the traditional ancestral homeland of the Abenaki, Pennacook and Wabanaki Peoples past and present. Like everyone, I'm a work in progress! I believe that there is always more wisdom in the room when souls come together than any of us truly realize, which is why I focus on community building and shared practice.
Tara Mahady – Meditation + Yoga Guide
I offer spaces of return, places where the nervous system can begin to settle, where breath can soften, and awareness can come home to itself. Through meditation, yoga nidra, and gentle, restorative movement and yoga asana, I invite a shift toward presence, quietude, and connection.
My practice has been shaped over decades and through many streams of wisdom. As a post-lineage guide, I carry forward what’s been received with reverence, weaving it into a grounded, intuitive approach. Elemental awareness often moves through my work, breath, water, stillness, earth, as a way of remembering the refuge that’s always within.
In a world that constantly pulls us outward, my offerings are an invitation to reclaim your attention and turn inward. Rest is not a luxury, it’s a practice. And within that practice is a remembering: of rhythm, of wholeness, of who we truly are.
